In honor of Youth Art Month, Vulcan Park and Museum is proud to present, What Makes the Magic City So Magical?, an exhibition of works created by Junior and Senior art students from Ramsay High School. Asked to depict a positive aspect of the Magic City, these works highlight the talents of these young artists while illustrating a facet of their community that is significant to them.
Admission is included with entrance to Vulcan Park and Museum.
$6 Adults; $4 Ages 5 – 12; FREE for Kids 4 and Under!

Experience the Magic City from Vulcan’s view! Vulcan Park and Museum’s 2010 Walking Tour Series offers recent and longtime residents alike a fun, invigorating way to experience the history and architectural beauty of Birmingham’s neighborhoods and districts. As much about people as place, our walking tours invite you to step into the shoes of the architects, visionaries, socialites, and entrepreneurs who sparked the magic in the Magic City.

Clover Crawl Green Home and Garden Expo
Saturday, March 20 from 10 am – 4 pm
at Vulcan Park and Museum
Kick off spring with the 2010 Clover Crawl Green Home and Garden Expo at Vulcan Park and Museum. This free event, made possible by the Green Resource Center for Alabama, will show you the latest trends in green products and services for your home, office and garden. Come enjoy music, food, activities for the kids and beautiful views of the city from the park. Start spring cleaning by bringing electronics for recycling. Learn how to be more energy efficient, create healthier homes, offices and landscapes to reduce your impact on the environment. Exhibits will feature information, resources, products and services about energy, water, waste and recycling, homebuilding and remodeling, food and clothing, transportation, yard and garden, recreation and leisure, household products and practices, education and lifestyle. Little changes can make a big difference.
