Have you ever thought about making a Documentary? Our Sidewalk Salon topic for July is “Documentary Film: Determining A Concept and Getting Started”.
We will have filmmaker Michele Forman on hand to talk about what it takes to get started and how to turn your ideas into a successful film. Come to Rojo, Tuesday, July 6 for this discussion. An hour of group networking will begin at 6 P.M. and be immediately followed by the presentation.
Sidewalk Scrambled Jam:
Sidewalk’s timed film-making competition, The Sidewalk Scrambled Jam is calling all filmmakers to sign up for this unique and rewarding opportunity.
The registration fee is only $40 ($35 if you are a Sidewalk Member) and you’re guaranteed to walk away with an incredible story or two, some new friends, hopefully an amazing video and a new following. Birmingham SHOUT is holding a special Alabama premier screening of “8: The Mormon Proposition”, Monday, July 12th 7 PM at the Bottletree. Tickets are $10 for General Admission and $7 for Sidewalk/ SHOUT members.
